What does it do?

Create an account, upload your media and you can start selling subscriptions, hi-res downloads worldwide, from your own bespoke pages, instantly. We don't take any cut of your revenues - BooServer just delivers!

Is it Free?

No, it's better than free - you can make a living out of it!

BooServer enables you to sell direct. All revenues from downloads, subscriptions & sponsorships go direct into your PayPal account. Your pages are entirely yours and totally customisable, there are no ads or banners on your pages and the only thing you have to pay for is the delivery (like digital postage) of your media. And it's cheap…

Charges are in Beeps: 1 beep = 1 play/download of a 5mb file which costs 0.5p.
So 1,000 Beeps (downloads / plays) costs £5.. Anything you make from selling those tracks / videos or feeds goes direct to you..
e.g. 1,000 downloads @ 50p = £500 revenue. Cost to you is £5.

We take no percentage or cut of your revenues - everyone wanted a good simple deal so that's it!

Can it be free?

Yes! BooServer has created the Peep system, so that your Beeps can be bought by other people - we call these people "Peeps" (Peers who buy Beeps) - if you have an invite code you might already have had your Beeps bought for you..

Peeps can be supporters, other artists or organisations, and while they're paying for your Beeps they get a little picture alongside your page!

You just approve it and then when others come to your page, people can enjoy your stuff freely & find out about them too. It kills two birds with one stone, artists can deliver their stuff for free and people who want to publicise their work, or what they're doing, can cross-promote on other people's pages. It's like advertising - only personal..!

How does it work?

Whenever you log in to your account the newest releases of all your feeds play automatically. So you can come home, sit back and enjoy the latest stuff live from the people you choose, as it's made.

Is it free?

Yes. You don't even need an account to start enjoying all the public work. You can bookmark and save widgets to your dashboard (which is just saved to your computer) so you can start creating a BooServer collection without creating an account.

If you want to get feeds or high quality downloads from creators you can do that too... Publishers set their own prices and when you pay you're paying them direct (BooServer takes no cut) so you can rest easy that your payments really are making the music & films happen!

What is BooServer?

BooServer works for creators of all sizes, transmitting their music, film & news around the world via beeps.

What are beeps?

Every time you play a 5mb file over the internet it costs 1beep to deliver from the server to your computer (about 0.5p).

At BooServer we don't charge a commission or percentage on artists revenues - we just supply the means to deliver & take payments, which makes it incredibly cheap!

From BooServer you just buy buckets of beeps with which to deliver your (music, film, audio) of your choice.
You can upload anything you like, at any quality - we just deliver. Meaning you can get on, make more good stuff & earn the full revenues that are rightfully yours.

For example if you sold a download for 50p we would charge 1beep for the delivery of that track (just 0.5p). The 49.5p goes to you (minus paypal charge)
In fact we've made them so cheap that you can even give them away so even if you have say 500 free plays a day (a lot) that would only cost you £2.50 or the price of a sandwich

Think of booserver like an online cd burner or record press creating streams you can sell - or like blank tapes only modern.

How it Works - The Peep System!

Publishers and artists on BooServer can either buy their own beeps on BooServer & give away their stuff for free (it'll cost them but you as a fan can enjoy it for free), OR they can sell downloads, feeds & subscriptions to pay for the beeps and keep themselves alive... OR anyone who wants the world to enjoy their stuff for free can buy their beeps for them through the Peep system!

How do i become someone's Peep?

Peeps can be anyone.. fans, supporters, other publishers, organisations..
You become someone's peep whenever you buy their beeps for them (just click the "get our beeps" button alongside their page).
When you buy someones beeps you also get a picture link (like a mini advert - ..only nice :) ) prominently beside their player, so since as you've supported them, when people see them they can also find out about you too!

Everybody likes to just kick back and be inspired and entertained or informed and BooServer has been created for just that.
Because of the Peep system, much of the fantastic music, film and documentaries on BooServer are free to air AND the makers are getting paid so they can keep doing it! - so you can just watch, listen and contentedly enjoy!
Use the personal drag & drop dashboard to arrange feeds from your favourite artists, to enjoy for free, or if you want to get more involved you can buy downloads or subscriptions direct from the makers themselves.

BooServer doesn't take ANY cut of any of our publisher's revenues. If you buy a download or a subscription it goes direct into their PayPal account (you'll be able to tell because it's their PayPal email address - like on eBay)
So it's better for the creators and cheaper for you.
..and because we just sell blank tapes, BooServer can make an honest living, so we don't advertise at you, and we couldn't be less interested in your private data so there's none required to create an account (just an email and password ..we're not interested in your age or demographic ). By the way: with your private account you can store all your tracks and feeds online to access wherever you are, from any internet connection.
